Forecast Discussion

High pressure will build in to kick off the week. Conditions will be very quiet, with skies remaining mainly clear with only a few clouds mixed in at times and no precipitation for the coming week. Thanks to a building upper-level ridge and the shifting of the high east throughout the week, temperatures will begin to undergo a warming trend. Today, the cooler air following the cold front will remain in place as temperatures only reach the lower 60s, but by Tuesday and Wednesday, highs reach the 70s again. Patchy frost will be possible tonight as lows dip into the upper 30s, but lows will not dip back that low for the rest of the forecast period thanks to this warming trend. Clear and calm conditions are expected to remain in place for the foreseeable future.
