Forecast Discussion

A Freeze Warning is in effect from 2 am to 9 am Friday morning, with widespread frost heading into Friday morning

A deep surge of cold air advection (CAA), combined with an upper-level and surface trough, is reinforcing the chilly conditions across the region this week. A strong low-pressure system positioned near New England and southeastern Canada is further supporting the drop in temperatures. We can also expect windy conditions today with gusts up to 21 MPH.

Expect overnight lows in the mid to lower 30s and afternoon highs in the upper 50s, gradually warming into the low 60s by Sunday.

Looking ahead, a cold front is expected to approach early next week, bringing increasing rain chances and another shot of cooler air behind it.
