Forecast Discussion
After a soggy and cold start to the week, the weekend looks calmer but a tad chilly. The National Weather Service in Charleston, West Virginia has issued a Frost Advisory that starts at 2am tonight and is in place till 10am tomorrow morning. Make sure to cover up any plants if you have any. A cut off low riding the eastern seaboard may bring us some cloud cover but their is some disagreement on how much cloud cover there is therefore tomorrow will be a mix of partly to mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures do warm up into lower to mid 50s by mid afternoon. Skies clear Saturday Night with temps falling into the lower 30s leading to another night of frost potential. Temps rise into the lower to mid 60s Sunday with on and off cloud cover but still dry. Monday brings a severe weather potential with the main threat being damaging straight line winds but large hail and a isolated tornado still can’t be ruled out. Temps near or over 70 degrees. Tuesday and Wednesday look drier and calmer with temps in the 50s.
