Forecast Discussion

A mature mid-latitude cyclone will make its way through Ohio today. Because of the warm front ahead of it, our temperatures today will be relatively warm. With this warm front, moist air from the south combined with the cold arctic air from an upper-level trough will bring the chance for some rain-snow mix today. The chance for precipitation will continue into the overnight with a slight chance for snow flurries and gusts up to 15 mph as the associated cold front finally passes over. Please be cautious on the roads for any slick spots these next few days!

The weekend will be much more pleasant as high-pressure settles into the region! Sunny skies will greet us Saturday night and all-day Sunday. The upper-level trough will persist, keeping our temperatures chilly. By Monday the next chance for rain will return as yet another system develops.
