A mature mid-latitude cyclone is slowly making its way towards Ohio bringing us the chance for rain and even some snow! Today will be calm with plenty of clouds with the possibility of a high near 65. Expect calm winds today and into tonight, making conditions pleasant. Clouds will begin to increase by tomorrow as the chance for rain returns Tuesday. This will primarily impact any morning plans around 10 am, but rain could linger throughout the day.

Now comes the part of the forecast you probably care more about; by Wednesday, the chance for rain remains for most of the day with winds having the chance to reach up to 13 mph. However, sustained gusts could reach up to 25 mph Wednesday into Wednesday night, so make sure any outdoor decorations are secured or brought inside! By this time, an upper-level low will become cutoff and crawl over Ohio. This could allow any precipitation to linger for long periods as this cutoff low will stagnate over Ohio Thursday into Friday. The main risk for snow will be during the overnight hours Thursday into Friday, though Thursday still has the possibility for rain-snow mix. Winds will continue to be gusty with sustained winds having the chance to reach 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph!
