Forecast Discussion
Foggy conditions will persist through mid morning as low level moisture lingers after the passage of the cold front. Fog will dissipate by mid morning and clouds should clear out as surface high pressure builds across the Ohio Valley. This high pressure will bring pleasant conditions for today, with highs in the low 80s and sunny skies. Fog will be a possibility again overnight as the surface high pressure moves near or over the area overnight. High pressure will exit Tuesday afternoon, leading to another dry day with plenty of sunshine. Another cold front will likely bring showers and a slight chance for thunderstorms across the area Wednesday morning; however, there will be weak instability, so no severe weather is expected. Surface high pressure will again build on Thursday and dominate into Saturday before exiting Saturday night and Sunday, with dry weather still forecasted to remain.
