We are starting off our Sunday on a chilly and gloomy note due to overcast conditions. These clouds will only thicken as we move through the day today as we have an area of low pressure tracking through Great Lakes region. A cold front is extending down into Indiana with this system with snow falling out ahead of this in Indiana currently, but as this precip moves closer to our area, it may start out as all snow initially and then immediately transition to rain-snow mix in the afternoon hours before we change over to plain snow showers by evening as the main batch moves out of our area. Flurries probably stick around through overnight hours with temperatures falling just below freezing mark so please be aware of any slick spots tonight. Minor snow totals are expected with up to 0.50″ possible with isolated higher amounts. High pressure moves through Tennessee tomorrow which will allow clouds to break apart with one more chilly day. Another quick disturbance looks to move through our area Monday night with scattered snow showers possible. By Tuesday, warm front lifts northward and warm us near average temperatures during the day to above normal temperatures Tuesday night into Wednesday with temperatures nearing 70°F on Wednesday afternoon. Cold front moves through Wednesday night with rain showers and cool us back down to near normal conditions for Thursday.
