Unfortunately, it doesn’t bode well for the D4 drought Athens is experiencing. The heat will also make a comeback this upcoming week with highs likely reaching the upper 80s. This is thanks to the combination of the high-pressure settling in over Ohio and an upper-level ridge moving through. Overall, not much change is expected these next few days.
