Forecast Discussion

The chance for showers and possibly storms may make the end of the week and into the weekend fairly soggy. While a marginal risk for severe weather is present today and tomorrow, the main threat could be damaging winds. Although, the risk is very minimal. However, a rumble of thunder or two can’t be ruled out, either, as the greatest chance for storms will be tonight and Friday night. A small stationary front embedded within the large cold front line will unfortunately keep our skies overcast and the continuous possibility for a rain shower. Thankfully, temperatures will remain relatively mild after today, however, humidity levels may make enjoying the outdoors miserable. By Saturday, storm chances will diminish, but rain may single linger throughout the Ohio Valley. Unfortunately, dreary and gloomy conditions are expected to persist into the early work week, but a small blip of sunshine could greet us early Monday morning before clouds return.
