After some rainy and gloomy days, sunshine is on its way as high pressure moves into the area. Temperatures will remain in the high 70s with low 50s at night with some chances of fog into tonight and tomorrow morning. Days will become sunnier with no clouds, and quieter weather will be expected for the rest of this week and into next.
Despite the rain we received recently and as of October 1st, 2024, the U.S. Drought Monitor still has Athens, OH under a D4 Exceptional Drought, which is the highest level.
