High pressure continues to dominate our area, resulting in dry, calm weather overnight and into Thursday as well. However, with upper-level winds becoming more zonal, higher pressure continues to be pushed eastward, and warmer air will be pushed into the region, making for a high around 88 degrees. However, skies will be completely clear throughout Thursday and into the night hours. Friday will begin sunny, though a cold front approaching from a surface low pressure further north will quickly usher in more clouds and a chance for scattered rain showers and possibly a rumble of thunder through the evening.

This quick cold front will push through the evening of Friday, and will quickly usher much calmer and cooler weather into Saturday as we become located within a strong, deep upper-level trough. This trough will promote a high near 74 degrees on Saturday, with clouds continually dispersing as higher pressure fills in behind the front. Sunday will experience similar conditions, at a high still in the mid 70s amidst cloudless skies. However, warming is expected as this trough does not persist long, making for a high in the low 80s, though still dry, to start off the new week.
