Forecast Discussion
We have a wave of moisture passing by our area in association with this cold front which has resulted in scattered rain showers so far this evening which looks to continue through most parts of overnight hours. Given that our temperatures will drop near freezing, we will note snow showers mixing in with this rain showers for the first time this season as we continue to progress through the night. No accumulations expected with these though. Clouds hang through our area throughout the day on Saturday with much below normal temperatures settling in. We have another low pressure area diving down into Great Lakes region on Sunday which will bring another round of rain-snow mix for our area. It is possible that we may see some dusting with this one as snow showers arriving first thing Sunday morning before we warm up later in the day. We may change back to plain snow showers in the evening before precipitation comes to an end. High pressure will control our weather to start of early next week period with warmer weather returning Tuesday and Wednesday as we warm up into 50’s and 60’s under dry conditions.
