Biography
Lauren Warner graduated from Purdue University in Spring 2020 with a B.S. in Atmospheric Science. Lauren was a member of the Purdue University Meteorological Association and the Weather Radar Research Laboratory. She provided forecasts for Purdue’s Emergency Preparedness and Planning Office and participated in the WxChallenge for several years. She also performed research with Dr. Robin Tanamachi using Purdue’s radar, the XTRRA. She presented this research at AMS 2020 and an article on her research is planned to be published in the Fall 2020 issue of JPUR.
Lauren was accepted to Ohio University as Associate Director of Scalia Laboratory for Fall 2020. She will be teaching the Observational Meteorology and Forecasting classes at the University, running the forecasting lab, and conducting research.
