Forecast Discussion
A relatively flat jet stream will present calmer weather to southeast Ohio over the next 48 hours. Because this jet will be off to our north, warmer air will be allowed to push back into the region late this weekend and the beginning of the week, making it feel like July across the forecast area. This pattern looks to hold over the region until the middle of the week, when a disturbance will finally come through. This will bring chances of showers and thunderstorms back to the area. As of now, no severe weather threat will be expected with this round of showers and thunderstorms, but this could definitely change. Behind this disturbance expect a relief from the upper 80s and lower 90s briefly. More warm weather can be expected for next weekend.
