Today will likely be the warmest day of the forecast period. A series of weak cold fronts are expected to make their way through the area over the next 72 hours. The first one is expected to come through this afternoon and evening, bringing scattered showers to the area early tonight. After this passes, lows are expected to reach the middle and upper 40s. With this front, Thursday’s highs are expected to reach the lower 60s. Thursday afternoon, another cold front will make its way through, bringing scatterd afternoon showers to the area, and cooling the lows into the lower 40s Thursday night, with rain still possible. Rain will also be possible Friday, as yet another cold front pushes through Friday afternoon. Highs are only expected to reach the upper 50s in most spots for Friday. This weekend, recovery into the lower 60s will begin.
