At this moment, we have a cold front located in central Ohio right now and it will slide southeastward over our area, but out ahead of it, we are seeing rain showers forming on radar around central Ohio and will slide down to Athens in next hour and end around midnight as the front moves through. I am not really expecting much rain out of this event and look for things to dry out by overnight hours. Tomorrow will be a repeat of today as clouds increase throughout the day with late afternoon into early evening risk of showers. Things will dry out by Thursday night into Friday with morning lows in lower 40’s and daytime high only in upper 50’s by Friday afternoon. We will continue to remain under troughing pattern through the weekend into early parts of next week with highs in lower-mid 60’s with lows in low-mid 40’s. A cold front does move through our area by late Sunday so do chance of rain showers Sunday night into early parts of Monday.
