Forecast Discussion
An upper-level ridge and surface high pressure situated over the Great Lakes will continue to bring warm, pleasant, calm conditions through the early part of the forecast period. Skies will remain mostly clear with only a few passing clouds forecast, with highs in the mid-upper 70s and lows dipping into the 40s. However, this pattern will begin to break down by Sunday as a shortwave trough begins approaching from the Northern Plains, accompanied by a surface low and cold front. This will introduce a pattern conducive for showers and maybe a thunderstorm Sunday and Monday, before more scattered activity takes hold for the early part of next week.
