Forecast Discussion
High pressure is dominating central and southern Appalachians region resulting in cold morning temperatures for us under calm winds this morning. Look for increasing bright conditions as we are looking at plenty of sun under milder conditions with daytime highs in lower 50’s. Tonight, we cool back down into upper 20’s tonight under continued clear conditions and calm winds. High pressure will start to move eastward tomorrow which would allow general southwesterly flow and we will warm up even more as result. A low pressure area will organize all the way back in eastern Colorado which will drive a strong warm front north of our area as we head into Tuesday night and Wednesday so look for clouds to increase during this time as well. With the warm front, we may have brief periods of showers, but note worthy thing would increasing winds gusts through the day into Thursday. A cold front moves through over area on Thursday afternoon with some rainfall and cool us down slightly for Friday. Rain chances to look to return Friday night into start of the weekend for us.
