Hazardous Weather Outlook

High pressure will keep the area dry through Wednesday, promoting sunny skies for today. Clouds will be on the increase by this evening, with winds becoming breezy at times. By Wednesday, a low pressure system moves over the Great Lakes, bringing a cold front through on Thursday and increasing precipitation chances. Much cooler air will surge into the area after the frontal passage, meaning snow will be the form of precipitation as high temperatures only reach into the 30s, and lows only in the teens. Snowfall totals are still uncertain, but 2 to 4 inches of snow cannot be ruled out at this time. High pressure then builds from the west on Friday, keeping the area dry through most of Saturday before another cold front approaches, increasing chances for a rain-snow mix by Saturday night into Sunday.
