A cold front will pass through late tonight causing the spring-like temperatures to drop back into the 40s. A few sprinkles may fall tonight due to this front, but no persistent showers are expected as we head into the nighttime hours. Temperatures will continue to drop into the night with lows in the low 30s. Saturday, temperatures will only reach the upper 30s as the cold arctic air remains from the system that passed through today. Cloudy skies will also remain throughout the day Saturday. Saturday night temperatures will drop into the upper teens as another system moves through bringing in another round of arctic air. This next system will also cause temperatures to only reach the low 30s Sunday with plenty of cloud cover. Sunday night there will be a 30% chance of light snow showers which will cause little to no accumulation.

Monday a deep upper-level trough will move through once again causing the freezing temperatures to persist throughout the day. However, as we continue into next week an upper-level ridge will enter our area Tuesday and persist Wednesday causing a warm-up midweek. Tuesday’s temperatures will be in the mid-40s and Wednesday we may see a high in the upper-50s.
