Forecast Discussion
Freeze Warning until April 20, 9:00AM EDT
A freeze warning still remains in effect until 9:00AM this morning with temperatures still at sub-freezing. Dry weather will be the main story during the day as high pressure builds, as well as warmer temperatures returning. Clouds will increase into the evening hours as a cold front approaches the area, resulting in chances for late evening rain showers. Sub-freezing temperatures should not be an issue tonight since temperatures will be about 20 degrees warmer. After the cold front moves through by Thursday evening, ridging will build into the area for the weekend, providing mainly dry and daytime temperatures near the mid 80s. However, a slight chance for showers still remains over the weekend, as a disturbance looks likely to pass through the area overtop the ridging.
