A low pressure system currently stationed to our west will push higher pressures out of the region by late morning, bringing some scattered light showers to our area in the mid-to-late afternoon. Temperatures will be around 50 degrees, but drop in the evening as the cold front moves over us. Additionally, wind speeds will ramp up as that cold front approaches, with sustained winds at 20 mph, and gusts up to 30 mph, most prominently in the early afternoon. After the cold front moves through, the low will exit eastern Ohio, ushering cold temperatures back into the region overnight, with a low at 26 degrees. Calmer winds from the northwest will set in as the night progresses as well, between 5-10 mph by midnight, then dropping to below 5 mph from the north by morning.

Tomorrow, expect cloudy skies with the sun occasionally poking through, with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 40s. The calm winds from overnight will carry on through the day tomorrow, once again below 5 mph, shifting from the northwest in the morning to the northeast by evening. These mild conditions will persist throughout the night, with temperatures dropping as low as 30 degrees, and winds still below 5 mph. A stray flurry Sunday morning is possible.
