After some active weather today and tonight, the weather pattern will stay pretty stagnant with highs hovering in the high 70s and lows in the mid 50s. Today, an isolated thunderstorm is possible during peak heating (3 PM – 6 PM) but confidence is low in any pop-up storm impacting the Athens area. The main chance for rain and thunderstorms comes later in the night as a line of storms is forclecasted to move in from the northwest. These storms could have strong winds associated with them. Leftove scattered showers could continue into Tuesday morning, otherwise, look for clearing skies throughout the day and a high in the high 70s once again. From then on, expect sunny skies during the day, clear skies during the night, and temperatures ranging from the mid 50s in the mornings, to the low 80s in the afternoons
