Another calm night is inbound, thanks to some high pressure in the area. Clear skies tonight will see some clouds move into the region by the early morning, with temperatures reaching a low of 61 degrees. Winds overnight will drop to 0-5 mph from the southwest as well. Wednesday will see some of those clouds thin, becoming mostly sunny by the afternoon, with temperatures jumping to a high of 90 degrees. High pressure will continue to dominate the region, making for another peaceful yet hot day.

Wednesday night, some clouds begin to move in, and will be variable in cover throughout the night as pressure drops. A weak longwave trough pattern will begin to develop around this time, and shortwaves will also become prevalent. Temperatures overnight will drop to 66 degrees, but rise to 86 degrees Thursday. Warmer temperatures and some moisture in the area will result in decent instability, promoting the development of thunderstorms in the afternoon hours. Winds will be around 10-15 mph from the southwest, but a lack of shear will make for thunderstorms to be less severe. Total rainfall throughout Thursday could reach an inch, so be careful of flooding, and stay aware of any developments in the forecast in the coming days.
