Forecast Discussion
High pressure will build in today with upper-level ridging aloft. This subsidence will allow for skies to clear to partly cloudy skies for the day. Southwesterly winds between 5-10 mph are expected. Similar conditions will continue into Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon with the typical diurnal temperature cycle. By Wednesday night, though, a cold front will pass, creating a slight chance for some snow flurries to fall. However, no accumulation is anticipated.
Dry conditions with mostly clear skies will return on Thursday. Friday skies will become cloudy again as another system rolls in, though no precipitation is expected until Saturday. Currently, models disagree about Saturday’s system, but there is the potential for SE Ohio’s first real snowstorm of the year with some rain mixed in at the beginning. More exact details and timing will be included in future forecasts as we get closer to the date.
