Forecast Discussion
Southeast Ohio will enter downstream from a ridge creating subsidence, sinking motion, and sunny skies for Thursday. High pressure will build in at the surface with highs in the low-40s. The high pressure will move off to the east Friday morning as an upper-level shortwave trough makes its way into the region. This will return rain chances for Friday evening before tapering off Saturday morning. Temperatures will begin to warm up as high-pressure returns for Sunday with highs near 70 degrees. Another system will approach the Ohio Valley on Monday bringing a warm front along with it causing further warm air advection with highs in the low-70s. Monday will remain dry, but keep looking for future forecasts heading into the early week.
