Happy July! A broad region of high pressure has parked itself over our region allowing for a wonderful start to the work week! With highs beginning today just under 80 and increasing to low 90s Wednesday as well as fairly clear skies, it will be a pleasant start to July. Unfortunately, these clear skies will not stick around for long as a frontal system will enter the region Wednesday evening with a slow cold front that will deliver rain and possibly thunderstorms during the later half of the week. As of now, it is looking like a gloomy Independence Day with high chances for showers during the day Thursday into the weekend.
