Forecast Discussion

High-pressure remains over Ohio which will allow dry conditions to persist the next couple of days. Thanks to an upper-level ridge, warmer air from the south will allow the Athens region to warm up considerably. For the most part, the next few days will be just that: warm and dry. Today, clouds will come and go becoming scattered then covering the entire sky. The same can be said for the overnight and into Monday. Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, the remnants of Hurricane Beryl will arrive to provide us some more rain. It is not expected to dump too much rain, thankfully, but could make for a soggy start of your Wednesday morning.
