A slow moving center of low pressure is currently pushing through much of Ohio, spurring up a few isolated showers and thunderstorms through its eastward path. However, overnight the chance of these sporadic storms diminishes, though broken cloud cover is still expected throughout much of Saturday, with another quick isolated storm or two possibly spawning. While the fast, random showers and storms may be a nuisance, they pose little severe risk. Partly cloudy skies resume overnight Saturday, though these will clear as high pressure begins to quickly develop Sunday. This will promote mainly sunny conditions, albeit quite warm, in the lower 90s.

An extensive period of calm, sunny weather is set to move in in the new week, though another heat wave is also quite likely as a zonal pattern sets in and high pressure dominates. Temperatures will peak in the upper 90s on Tuesday, though thankfully lower relative humidity values will make this dry heat more bearable. Some quick relief from the heat will arrive by Wednesday by a shortwave trough, making for a few more clouds to move in, and temperatures to drop to the high 80s.
