Over the next few days, we will have some quiet weather, though there is some partial cloud coverage tonight (Tuesday) and into Wednesday. But, after Wednesday, it will be quiet for about another 48 hours until Friday night. A trough is expected to form around Thursday in the Northern Midwest (The Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the UP of Michigan). This trough is then expected to dig down and travel southeast and east across the Midwest and the Great Lakes, even going as far south as Kentucky from Friday and into Saturday. This will bring some minor precipitation in the form of rain showers overnight Friday into Saturday morning. However, on the back end of this trough will be tons of sunshine heading into Sunday as the clouds will start to clear through Saturday afternoon and evening. What is particularly interesting about this trough is that this trough will bring cooler temperatures for numerous people, including here in SE Ohio, which I will address here as I go through the high temperatures. So, for tomorrow, the high is in the mid 80s. For Thursday and Friday, the highs will be in the high 80s to maybe even the low 90s. Finally, thanks to the trough from Canada, both Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid 70s. In fact, the lows for both Saturday and Sunday are expected to be in the low 40s. So, brace for some even chillier mornings over the weekend and enjoy the milder temperatures this upcoming weekend!
