We are currently under a trough that has brought with it really cool/chilly air as well as some scattered light showers. Moving forward, this trough is expected to hang around until late Thursday, though it will no longer give us any precipitation. Instead, it will only give the cool/chilly air that it has been giving us thus far, along with some continued cloud cover, though it won’t be full cloud coverage. Starting on Friday, the trough will move to the east, transitioning us into a ridge pattern, where sunshine will persist and temperatures will start to rise. This will persist through the weekend and into early next week. So for the high temperatures, tomorrow (Wednesday) will be in the mid 50s, Thursday will be in the low 60s, Friday will be in the high 60s, and both Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid 70s. On the flip side, for the low temperatures, tonight through Friday night will consistently be in the low 30s (around freezing), Saturday night will be in the mid 30s, and Sunday will be in the high 30s. So be sure to have some extra layers handy for the morning (and throughout the day in tomorrow’s case).
