Forecast Discussion
Aloft, the eastern United States is under a continuous trough pattern with a cut-off low located over Canada that will create cloudy and stagnant weather conditions over the course of the next few days. A low-pressure system from the plains will move northeast along with a cold front bringing along a chance for a dusting of snow showers Saturday evening into early Sunday morning. Snow accumulations of about an inch or less are expected with this system. Make sure to be careful driving in the morning in case of any slick spots on the road. High-pressure moves in early next week, but due to the trough lingering to the north, some clouds will stick around. An occluded midlatitude cyclone will progress eastward located over Canada bringing along a chance for a rain-snow mix come Wednesday, but more details on this system as the day gets closer. Make sure to bundle up as highs will stick to the low to mid-30s with lows in the 20s and even teens beginning next week!
