Forecast Discussion
A dying low pressure core further north will continue to keep conditions relatively breezy. Tonight, a few clouds will persist amidst a low in the high 10s. These mostly clear skies will continue through Saturday as well, and as we exit an upper-level trough, temperatures will warm up for a high in the low 40s. Pressure will rise to be more normal by Saturday evening through Sunday, in which a few more clouds will develop on Saturday evening, but disperse by Sunday. Warm air will continue to be funneled into the region, making for a high in the low 50s on Sunday.
This warm, pleasant weather won’t last for long, however, as a growing low pressure system will return wet weather into the new week. By Monday, widespread rain potentially totaling past half an inch will present alongside a high in the upper 50s. By Tuesday, much of the rain will have passed, pushed out by a large cold front. However, some scattered showers are still possible throughout the day. Cloudy skies will persist through Wednesday, though temperatures will have dropped to the upper 30s. With some backend moisture present, some scattered snow flurries are possible.
