A warm front moving through the area will promote cloudy conditions to persist amidst a chance of scattered showers throughout the evening. As Saturday lingers in the warm sector of the larger midlatitude cyclone, temperatures will be at an unseasonable 63 degrees, with an isolated shower possible. As the cold front approaches during Saturday evening, more rain will continue to fall, especially in the early morning hours of Sunday. However, this cold front will stall and another midlatitude cyclone will develop and push through, which will keep conditions quite warm in the low 60s on Sunday as well. With a few showers possible through the afternoon as well, total rain accumulations by the end of the weekend could total past an inch.

With the passage of the low pressure system on Sunday, the new week will begin with some partial clearing as brief high pressure moves in, and a quick cooling back down to the low 50s. However, another midlatitude cyclone will pass through on Tuesday, promoting more rain and a greater cooldown in temperatures by Wednesday. However, cloudy skies are expected to persist, making for a dreary start to the new year.
