Cameron is from Fort Wayne, Indiana studying geography meteorology at Ohio University. His interest in meteorology started when he watched Storm Chasers on the Weather Channel, read weather books, and took cloud photography at a young age. Cameron became passionate about watching seasonal storms in his hometown from the radar and news coverage. During high school, he wanted to pursue meteorology as his career. He participated in the Skywarn Weather Spotters program with the National Weather Service. Cameron shadowed his local chief meteorologist, Nicholas Ferreri at WANE 15 News. Cameron came to Ohio University in 2023 to study meteorology. After undergrad, he plans on going to graduate school and hopes to land a career in radar meteorology.
