Nicole Grams (BS Meteorology, ‘11) is an Account Manager at Esri, where she has been responsible for the NOAA portfolio since 2022. In this role, she gets to advise and support the many critical geospatial processes that drive the NOAA mission every day. Prior to Esri, Nicole worked in varied GIS positions in both government and private industry, spanning insurance to emergency management to precision agriculture. While at OHIO, Nicole interned as a SCEP student at the Charleston, WV NWS office and as a Hollings Scholar at the National Hurricane Center’s Storm Surge Unit. It was there that she became interested in geospatial research, ultimately completing an MS in Geoinformatics at the University of Oklahoma and launching her multi-discipline career from there.

Nicole was a founding member of the Spring Symposium as well as OHIO’s club sport Synchronized Skating Team. In her free time, she still skates competitively on a Masters team in the Washington, DC area.
