Forecast Discussion
A cold front will pass through Southeast Ohio late this morning. Due to a lack of forcing and limited moisture, this frontal passage is expected to be dry. An uptick in winds will be likely late this morning into this afternoon as the pressure gradient tightens behind the front. Winds can gust to near 20 mph. An area off surface high pressure will build into the region tonight and slowly move eastward into Wednesday and Thursday. This will result in northwesterly flow and dry conditions. An upper-level trough will move across the Eastern U.S. on Friday before slowly deepening as we progress into the weekend. On and off rain will be likely Friday through the rest of the weekend as the trough dominates and an area of surface low pressure moves up the Eastern Seaboard.
