Hot conditions today with temperatures soaring up to 93 degrees. Clear skies for most of the day until clouds start to roll in this evening due to an approaching cold front as we transition into a trough. Unfortunately it is a bad night to see the Perseid meteor shower due to the expected cloud cover, but there could be a short isolated break in the clouds throughout the night. We’ll see rain chances increase after midnight tonight through Wednesday morning, along with some non-severe thunderstorms as the cold front moves closer. Showers and thunderstorms will become a little more scattered through the day on Wednesday, mostly clearing out Wednesday night before returning Thursday afternoon. We’ll see a very brief break from hot temperatures Wednesday and Thursday before temperatures move back up into the 90s Friday and through the weekend.
