Today, we can expect widespread showers throughout the day with imbedded thunderstorms possible. This is due to the cold front that will be making its way through our region throughout the day today. While this cold front passes through, we can also expect some isolated higher wind gusts, this has prompted the Storm Prediction Center to put us under a marginal risk (level 1/5) for severe weather. Due to these conditions our high is only expected to be around 68. The rain will exit our region later this evening allowing for a dry but cloudier night as cloud cover from this system will still be making its way out.

We will have a very brief return to the warmer and sunnier conditions Friday with a high in the mid-80s; however, a stronger cold front is expected to enter our region Friday night into Saturday. This will allow us to have sunny skies and highs in the low-70s to end off our weekend and begin our week.
