Forecast Discussion
Another warm weekend is expected in southeast Ohio, with temperatures reaching into the high 80s today and tomorrow.
A break in our weeks-long dry spell is expected tomorrow and into the beginning of the week, and temperatures are expected to cool down to the 70s giving us some relief from the heat. This is due to a change in the upper air pattern that will bring several weak low pressure systems to the midwest throughout the week and advect moisture from the Gulf allowing for some much needed showers. Severe thunderstorm potential is low, although a thunderstorm or two cannot be ruled out with these systems. Precipitation totals for the next five days are predicted to be a half inch to an inch across the region but will vary depending on where showers develop over the next few days.
