Forecast Discussion
The dry spell in Athens will finally come to an end as chances of rain showers increase over the next few days, this is because of a weak frontal boundary stalling out over our area. Towards the middle of the week, a low pressure system will form in the central part of the country and slowly move its way eastwards and bring more chances of rain. Hopefully this will help our area with the D1 Moderate Drought conditions we have been experiencing. Temperatures will also cool off into the mid 70s on Tuesday, which will be a huge relief from the heat we have been dealing with. Precipitation totals from these systems will vary across the region as the rain will be fairly scattered.
