Forecast Discussion

Today we’ll start off with a few isolated rain showers, clearing out by the afternoon. Cloud cover will stick around for much of the day, with some short clearing near the early evening. Temperatures today reaching up to 79 degrees. Tonight, we’re staying mostly dry with cloud cover sticking around. Low temperature reaching down to 63 degrees. Wednesday we’ll see another round of showers and thunderstorms, especially towards the afternoon as a cold front moves through the area. The Storm Prediction Center currently has us under a Marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for isolated stronger wind gusts with some storms. Some storms may also produce heavy rainfall at times.  With this, the WPC has issued a Slight risk (level 2 out of 4) for excessive rainfall. With the amount of rain expected in the next couple of days, please be cautious of flooded roadways and rising water. Chances of rain will continue through Wednesday night into Thursday.

Throughout the remainder of the week and into the weekend, temperatures will be in the mid 70s Thursday and Friday, and rise up into the lower 80s this weekend. Rain should clear out by Friday as we transition into another ridge by next week.
