Forecast Discussion

The system that brought rain to the region last night is expected to fully exit the region by tomorrow as gusty winds continue today. Cold air behind this system will allow temperatures to drastically drop with a high of only 31 today before dropping into the lower-20s overnight into Saturday. Snow flurries may return this morning but aren’t expected to stick around past the afternoon. As we enter Friday evening and into the weekend, calmer conditions are expected for much of the forecast through Monday. Temperatures will bounce around as warm and cold air consistently move in and out of the state, but we may see a warming trend as we move into next week. Another system will move just north of Ohio on Tuesday, bringing back the possibility for rain showers by then.
