Forecast Discussion
Today will be cloudy as the area is caught between systems of low pressure. Beginning Saturday morning, a strong low pressure system will come into the region and cause chances for freezing rain at first. Freezing rain will melt into rain as temperatures warm up during the day, but precipitation is expected to turn into snow as night falls. Snowfall may be heavy at times Saturday night. Sunday morning should see a decrease in precipitation as the system quickly passes and moves East, but clouds will remain throughout the day. Sunday night, clouds will clear and cold air will enter the region dropping temperatures to below 10 degrees. Monday will be sunny and cold. A warm front is expected to pass over late Tuesday which will warm temperatures back to above freezing as well as bring a chance for precipitation as night falls.
