Today the area will be hit with a strong low pressure system. Strong chances for precipitation and temperatures above freezing will lead to rain up to a couple inches which may lead to flooding. Tonight, falling temperatures may change the precipitation into wintry mix and then snow which is expected to accumulate. Sunday will see a few lingering chances for snow in the morning before the system completely moves out of the area, the remainder of the day will be cloudy with falling temperatures. Sunday night, temperatures will continue to drop to near 0 degrees as clouds clear out due to incoming high pressure. Monday will be clear and cold with temperatures below 20 degrees during the day. Tuesday will see a warm front enter to raise temperatures back above freezing. Wednesday, the warm front is expected to bring light rain to the area.
