Biography

Tyler graduated with a Master of Science in Geography-Meteorology in 2021, completing his thesis titled “Topographic and Surface Roughness Influences on Tornadogenesis and Decay” with Dr. Jana Houser. He presented his thesis work at AMS 2020 winning an award for outstanding student presentation and research. During his time at Ohio University, Tyler was an active member of OUCAMS and Scalia Lab, volunteering as a student forecaster. A native of Donnelsville, Ohio; He currently works as the Map Room Technician for the Clark County, Ohio Engineer’s Office.
