Forecast Discussion
With no major synoptic-scale features passing over the area, we will see similar conditions over the next few days. Tonight will be the coldest night of the week, with the low temperature dropping to about 19 degrees. There will be considerable sunshine on Tuesday with some passing clouds, and then we will see a generous chance of snow and freezing rain in the evening. Temperatures will only drop to the low 30’s, and the precipitation will change strictly into rain as we approach Wednesday morning. The high for Wednesday will be in the mid 40’s, and the rain will persist throughout the day into the night, where the temp will remain in a pleasant upper 30’s. The rain will come to a halt when Thursday comes around, with the high temp the same as on Wednesday, with considerable cloudiness throughout the day and night. Conditions will remain more of the same until Friday night when we will likely see some rain. Also chance of rain Saturday night.
