The dense fog over the area will finally begin to dissipate as the later morning hours progress. Sunny skies will take place throughout the afternoon and evening as the high temperature looks to climb into the mid 80s. The high pressure that was briefly situated over the region has begun to shift south and east with the progression of Tuesday and Tuesday night. A projected weak cold front begins to approach southeastern Ohio from the northwest by early Wednesday morning and pass through the area by 10am-12pm. The precipitation ahead and along this boundary will be greatly reduced with the timing and presence of drier air in the lower levels. That being said, an isolated rain shower or weak thunderstorm is still possible through early-late morning on Wednesday. The passing of the front earlier in the day will decrease the cloud cover as the day proceeds and damper our high temperature. Prominent northerly flow will control the area Thursday and into Friday introducing drier and slightly cooler conditions with highs in the mid-upper 70s and our lows dipping into the lower 50s.
