Forecast Discussion
After a very warm Sunday, the first day of fall will have slightly reduced temperatures, but a risk for some rain showers. A cold front is expected to encroach on SE Ohio by tomorrow morning with intentions of passing through to our southeast by mid-late afternoon on Monday. Extensive cloud cover, some gusty winds and rain showers can be expected as temperatures slightly cool and remain in the upper 70s. With the front’s passage, cloud cover should be on the decrease into Monday evening as a northwesterly flow takes control. High pressure fills in from the west and generates a dry, but slightly above average pattern into Wednesday. Temperatures will near the upper 70s for Tuesday and eventually back into the lower 80s for midweek…Another unseasonably warmer trend is in store for late week and into the weekend as temperatures may climb into the upper 80s and near 90.
