Forecast Discussion

High pressure to the south will keep the region dry today, but clouds will still stick around the region breaking later on in the afternoon. By Tuesday, a shortwave trough will move over the region and give slight chances of a wintry mix late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. Temperatures will warm up to the 40’s by Wednesday as well. Our best chance of precipitation this week will be on Thursday. At some points we will be in a mix of rain and snow, and at other points the region will plain just have rain. We dry out for a day on Friday and for Saturday we keep a eye on a system that could cause more wintry weather for the region.
